Registration, RSVP or feedback: choose the right event form
Registration collects details before an event. An RSVP asks whether an invited guest will attend. Feedback asks what worked after the event. Keep these stages separate so guests answer questions that are relevant now.
| Your task | Start here | What it collects |
|---|---|---|
| Register for a workshop, webinar or conference | Event registration | Attendee details, attendance format and relevant access or dietary follow-up. Check capacity and confirm attendance separately. |
| Reply to an invitation | RSVP form | Attendance reply and guest information. Replace the wording with your invitation details before sharing. |
| Review an event after it finishes | Event feedback survey | Ratings, useful sessions and suggestions for future events. Send it after attendees have experienced the event. |
Keep the first registration short
For a webinar, start with name and email. Add a session choice only when attendees can choose between sessions. Remove food and venue questions from online-only registration.
For an in-person or hybrid event, offer an optional way to discuss access adjustments. Ask about dietary needs only when catering is provided, and keep these answers available only to the people arranging that support.
These templates collect responses; they do not issue tickets, take payment or enforce seat capacity automatically. Tell attendees whether submission is a request or confirmed registration, and decide who sends joining details. Preview the form before publishing.
